O tratamento termoquímico cria Titanato de Sódio na superfície que, ao ter contato com o sangue e devido à atividade iónica do sódio, atua formando uma capa de apatita com uma união totalmente estável ao implante.
A topografía da superfície apresenta um Sa de 1.5 ±0.1 μm e está otimizada para minimizar uma possível colonização bacteriana.
Acelera a estabilidade biológica, obtendo-se valores ISQ de carga na quarta semana.
